Aphrodites Child

희랍신화에 나오는 미와 사랑의 여신 "아프로디테의 자식들"이라는 
뜻을 담고 있는 아프로디테스 차일드는 Demis Ruossos와
Vangelis가 주축이 되어 그리스에서 결성된 5인조 그룹입니다. 
이들의 출현은 유럽 음악계에 일대 파문과 기대를 한 몸에 받으면서
짧은 기간동안 Rain and Tears, I Want to live, Spring, Summere,
Winter and Fall 등의 히트싱글 들을 탄생시켰습니다. 
그러나 1971년 독특한 바이브레이션창법으로 환상적인 보컬을
들려 주었던 그룹의 핵심 멤버 Demis Roussos 가
솔로의 길을 걷기 시작하면서 자연스럽게 해체되었습니다.
