I was five and he were six
We rode on horses made of sticks
he wore black and i wore white
he would always win the fight
난 다섯 살이고 그는 여섯 살이였어요
우린 목마를 탔지요
그는 검은 색 나는 흰 색
언제나 그는 싸움에서 이겼어요

Bang bang, he shot me down
Bang bang, I hit the ground
Bang bang, that awful sound
Bang bang, my baby shot me down
뱅~ 뱅, 그는 나를 쐈어요
뱅~ 뱅 , 땅에 쓰러졌어요
뱅~ 뱅, 소리가 끔찍했지요
뱅~ 뱅, 내 사랑이 나를 쐈어요

Seasons came and changed the time
when I grew up, I called him mine
he would always laugh and say
"Remember when we used to play"
계절이 바뀌고 세월이 흐르고
나도 자랐어요 난 그의 사람으로 불렸지요
늘 그는 웃으면서 묻곤 했어요
'기억나니? 우리가 놀던 그때 말이야

Music played and all people sang
Just for me the church bells rang
음악이 흐르고, 모든 사람들이 노래해요
교회 종소리는 나를 위해 울렸어요

Now he's gone I don't know why
untill these days Sometimes I cry
he didn't even say goodbye
he didn't take the time to lie
그는 이제 떠나버렸어요. 나는 이유를 알 수 없어요
지금까지도 가끔 울어요
그는 내게 잘 지내라란 말도 안했거든요
핑계조차 없이 떠나가버렸어요
